Search and Rescue FSRR
To encourage students to develop the skills to don firefighter protective gear properly and quickly and to encourage students to develop the physical, mental and sensory skills to conduct a successful search of an area under simulated stressful, zero visibility conditions.
Objectives
Don full bunker gear as quickily as you can. Check the door for simulated heat and simulate notifying dispatch that competitor is entering the building. Search the maze in blacked out conditions locating, identifying, verbalizing tool names and locating the baby victim. Exit the maze with the baby safely through the same route the competitor has already searched.
